What a virtual assistant does
A virtual assistant, usually called a VA, provides administrative, organisational or technical support to businesses remotely. Small business owners, coaches, consultants and creators often have more admin than time. A VA takes some of it off their hands.
It is a common starting point for online work, because many of the skills come from everyday office jobs: organising, communicating, keeping track of things.
